A Give-Back Initiative Helping Orthodontists Recover Hidden Production While Supporting Smiles Change LivesÂ
We help orthodontists turn missed consultations into new treatment starts — strengthening their practices while expanding access to Smiles Change Lives care.
Through a structured re-engagement process, we reconnect with patients who previously had an orthodontic consultation but never started treatment. Many are still interested — they simply fell through the cracks.
Recover treatment already sitting in your pending exams
Increase case starts without additional marketing costs
Strengthen your ability to treat Smiles Change Lives patients
Practice Success Creates More Smiles
Smiles Create Smiles TM is built on a simple belief. When orthodontic practices uncover opportunity already sitting inside their practice, that success creates the capacity to treat more children through Smiles Change Lives. First we focus on helping your practice gain clarity and recover dormant production. Then that success can create the opportunity to provide more life-changing smiles for kids who need them most.
You don’t have to choose between growing your practice and giving back. Smiles Create Smiles TM helps you do both.
Every orthodontic practice has patients who:
âś“ Completed a consultation
✓ Expressed interest in treatment
âś“ Stopped responding to your follow-up
Over time these patients are simply written off.
Not because they weren’t interested — but because the practice has no clarity on:
Who is still interested
Who has already moved on
What Is Your Non-Responsive Exam List Worth?
Every orthodontic practice has a list of patients who stopped responding after their consultation. Most practices assume these patients lost interest.Â
But based on over 6 years of re-engagement data, approximately 25% are still interested in treatment. The opportunity may already be sitting inside your practice

Opportunity
The goal isn’t to create interest.
It’s to identify the interest that already exists.
Now the question becomes is your "opportunity number" worth pursuing?
Let’s be clear about one thing.
The opportunity identified through the above process is an example, not a guarantee. We cannot determine your exact numbers until we conduct the analysis for your practice. What we can guarantee is that every practice has a number — and within that number we consistently identify the following:
01. Who is ready to start treatment now
02. Who is still interested but needs more time
03. Who is no longer interested
What this process provides is something most practices never have:
Clarity.
Instead of chasing 100 unknown patients, your team focuses on the patients who have confirmed they are still interested
Exclusive SCL Provider Partnership
To support orthodontists who participate in Smiles Change Lives, we created a partnership version of our program.
The standard investment for our 45 Day Non-Responsive Exam Re-Engagement Program starts at:
$3,500
However, for doctors who treat Smiles Change Lives patients, we apply a Give Back Credit based on the number of SCL children you commit to accepting. The details of this partnership are discussed during the discovery conversation to ensure it aligns with your practice and your involvement with SCL.

Why I Created Smiles Create Smiles™
When I was a business partner in an orthodontic practice from 2011 until we sold the practice in 2018, one of the most rewarding things our team did was treat as many Smiles Change Lives kids as we could. I remember our doctor asking me one day, “Eric, can we afford to keep doing this?” I told her, “You keep treating the kids — I’ll make sure we can afford it.” The letters we received from those kids — written in their own words and handwriting — still stay with me today. Smiles Create Smiles™ was created to support orthodontists who are already giving back and help them treat even more children.
